AI decision governance for leadership teams
AI decision governance is the set of controls that keeps model involvement bounded, reviewable and attributable when a team uses AI to support a material recommendation. AFOS applies those controls to leadership decisions; it is not a runtime policy engine for autonomous agents.
The accountability gap in AI-assisted decisions
A model can produce a confident recommendation without preserving the evidence it relied on, the disagreement it compressed, the person who accepted it or what happened afterward. A chat transcript alone does not close that gap.
Teams need an explicit boundary between AI-generated recommendation inputs and human authority, together with a record that survives after the conversation disappears.

What AFOS governs—and what it does not
AFOS governs the workflow around an AI-influenced team recommendation: relevant evidence, structured deliberation, human authority, the decision record and outcome review.
It does not currently sit inside autonomous-agent infrastructure to approve or block every machine action, and it should not be presented as a general data-loss-prevention, identity-proofing or regulatory-compliance system.
Provider and privacy boundaries
AFOS uses disclosed third-party service providers to deliver specific features and does not describe AI processing as local-only. The public privacy notice identifies relevant providers and data categories; qualified customers can request a more detailed data-flow and security review.
Common questions
Does AFOS let AI approve its own recommendation?
No. The model contributes recommendation inputs, but final authority remains with an authorised human.
Is AFOS an autonomous-agent governance gateway?
No. AFOS governs AI-influenced leadership recommendations and their evidentiary record; it does not currently intercept and authorise every action taken by autonomous agents.
